Privacy Policy

Files you upload: the bank-statement PDFs or images you submit for conversion, stored on our secure processing infrastructure to run the conversion.

Extracted data: the transactions pulled from your statement (dates, descriptions, amounts, balances), used to build the spreadsheet you download. For signed-in users, saved conversions are kept in your account until you delete them; guest conversions are not saved to any account.

Account data (signed-in users only): your email address and login identity, plus your credit balance and purchase history.

Usage counter: to enforce the daily free limit we keep a simple counter keyed to a random browser identifier or, when that isn't available, your IP address. It stores how many conversions were run that day — never your transactions.

Feedback you send: if you use the feedback widget or email us, we keep that correspondence.

Three categories of service providers touch your data, strictly to operate the product:

• Cloud hosting/storage — holds uploaded files and app data.

• Automated AI extraction — reads your statement to produce the transaction data. No human review is part of this pipeline, and your statements are not used to train models for other purposes.

• Stripe — handles all payments on Stripe's own hosted checkout. Your card number never touches BankSheet.ai's servers.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your statements or transactions with anyone for marketing or advertising.

Guest conversions: results are displayed in your browser and are not saved to any account or dashboard.

Signed-in users: saved conversions stay in your account until you delete them from your dashboard.

Uploaded files: stored on our processing infrastructure. Want a file or any data associated with it removed? Email robbie@banksheet.ai and we'll handle the deletion request.

Usage counters: daily counts, kept only as long as needed to enforce the daily limit.

• Use the free tier without creating an account at all.

• Delete any saved conversion from your dashboard at any time (signed-in users).

• Request deletion of uploaded files or any data we hold about you: email robbie@banksheet.ai.

• Depending on where you live (e.g., California, EU/UK), you may have additional statutory rights to access, correct, or delete personal data — email us and we'll honor them.

BankSheet.ai uses the minimum needed to function: session state for signed-in users and the daily-limit counter described above. We don't run third-party advertising trackers.
